Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Confidential information handling Math Quality data entry Data analysis software Full Job Description Job Overview We need an experienced Assistant to support our Human Resources (HR) Directors and act as liaison to Payroll personnel. The ideal candidate will be highly confidential, professional, and responsible for maintaining accurate employee, payroll and other HR related records. Duties Be at work on time, when scheduled, with professional appearance and demeanor Demonstrates the desire to quickly resolve HR related questions, issues, or concerns with the highest level of customer service and empathy Ability to use various HR and Payroll systems/software (Paycor, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Data Entry and audit employee records, onboarding documentation, pay, deductions, garnishments and other payroll related information for accuracy and compliance Tracks employee leave time, sending or prompting status updates as needed Coordinates systems and benefits administration ensuring accurate deductions are reflected in payroll and auditing monthly bills Monitor completion of new hire / onboarding documents including but not limited to (I-9, W-4, background checks, license verifications, etc.) resolving discrepancies Run various reports, conducts analysis of payroll/HR data to identify issues/trends Supports HR Directors in multiple departments (Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, Onboarding, etc.), managing calendars, files, schedling meetings Assists with HR and payroll related systems, policies, surveys, trainings and other projects and duties as assigned Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent experience - Bachelors preferred Proven math and computer skills with a minimum of 1 years experience in HR or payroll related position Must maintain confidentiality and discretion, remaining professional at all times Excel expertise required - PayCor experience preferred (or similar system) Excellent computer, report and data entry skills with a focus on accuracy Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data effectively. Experience in benefits administration is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain composure/emotional maturity in stressful situations This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth within our organization while playing a crucial role in our human resources departments.
