Job Summary The Human Resource Clerk will assist the HR Business Partner with complex and specialized administrative tasks including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports. Duties & Responsibilities Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details. Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings. Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews. Performs administrative and record-keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations. Review employee timecards. Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Make photocopies; mail, scans and emails documents; and perform other clerical functions. Files documents into appropriate employee files. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. Prepare new employee files. Conduct employee audits for personnel files and trainings. Assist with payroll duties & downloads payroll reports for finance Assists Executive Team members with special projects and assignments as requested Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to maintain confidential information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; An associate degree preferred. Three years of office experience preferred, with at least one year in human resources highly preferred.
