Are you looking for a new career opportunity with an exciting company?! Then we've got the right team for you! In this role, you're responsible for the duties listed below. Immediate opening for a HR Administrator
  • Construction Services in Long Beach, CA who possesses: 3+ years of HR Admin, Coordinator, or Assistant experience (ideally in a Union or Certified Environment).
Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Dayforce+, UKG, Workday, ADP, or Paychex. Exceptional detail orientation and strong understanding of HR compliance and onboarding workflows. Email resumes to or call 424.488.7104.
FULL DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will be responsible for: Serving as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries, and coordinating field onboarding and union clearance processes. Managing employee records, work assignments, and data entry using Dayforce and electronic filing systems. Ensuring compliance with company policies, state and federal labor laws, employee files, unemployment, and I-9 administration. Regularly communicating with Dispatch and field onboarding staff to prepare for upcoming personnel requests. Assisting applicants with onboarding paperwork, forms, employment documentation, and participating in team and safety meetings. The selected candidate will also possess: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred. 2+ years of HR experience in an operations-heavy, high-volume, or field-based environment. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, alongside job board and recruitment tool familiarity. Preferred experience with Dayforce HCM, trade union environments, CBAs, Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage compliance, or LMS administration.
Salary Range:
