Summary This position provides support in functional areas of human resources department. Compiles and maintains personnel records by performing the following duties. This description does not state or imply that these are the only duties assigned. Employees in this position may be required to perform other related duties as requested by management; essential duties directly support the purpose of this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, evaluations, and termination reasons Assists with audits, filing, and record-keeping projects Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized personnel Processes employment verifications Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports Verifies and processes new hire paperwork Posts job openings for new hire candidates Compiles and maintains records used for employee benefits administration Maintains discipline, training, and attendance records, including leave of absence, vacation, and birthday records Assists with audits, filing, and record-keeping projects — maintaining a high volume of physical personnel files with accuracy and attention to detail Distributes paychecks Receives and processes job applications as needed and schedules interviews Prepares new hire paperwork packets and assists with employment activities, including new hire orientation Responds to daily employee inquiries Enrolls new employees' fingerprint to ADP clocks. Maintains applicant flow log Answer and transfer incoming calls. Greet all visitors in a professional manner Coordinate delivery of packages Provides support to the HR Department as needed All other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience and/or human resources experience. Associates degree preferred. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Patient, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong background in recordkeeping; comfortable managing a high volume of filing and documentation with accuracy and consistency Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field. Knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration. Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have good organizational skills with the ability to multi task and prioritize assigned work. Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in both English and Spanish (bilingual required); ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and management Must possess high degree of accuracy is recording data (both words and numbers). Must be able to work independently with a proven record of follow-though, teamwork and accountability Excellent people skills with the ability to adapt to system changes as needed.

Starting Hourly Pay:

$27.00, OT, 7
