Job Description
San Luis Obispo, CA - The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key supporting role in delivering smooth and effective HR operations for a growing portfolio of clients. This position is ideal for an early-career HR professional seeking broad exposure across the full HR lifecycle, including compliance, policy development, onboarding, employee relations support, project coordination, and day-to-day operational tasks. Working closely with an assigned HR Business Partner, and in collaboration with the broader HRBP team, the HR Coordinator provides structured administrative support, contributes to client-specific initiatives, and ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both internal HR functions and client-facing needs. Description This is an in person position based in our San Luis Obispo, California office. Approximately 75% of the role will be spent working on site with clients throughout San Luis Obispo County, with the remaining approximately 25% performed remotely. To effectively meet the on site requirements of this role, applicants should currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Luis Obispo County. Candidates who do not currently live within the local commuting area will not be considered. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is perfect for someone at the early stages of their HR career who wants hands-on experience across all areas of Human Resources, from compliance, policy creation, onboarding, employee support, project management and HR operations. This position includes dedicated hours for multiple clients in the capacity of HR Coordinator, working collaboratively with the assigned HR Business Partner and offering project support across the HR Business Partner team.
