Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support core HR operations for a construction and contractor environment in Arvada, Colorado. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining compliant employee records, coordinating pre-employment screening activities, and assisting with documentation tied to workforce administration. The role is well suited for someone who can manage sensitive information carefully, communicate effectively, and keep HR processes organized and up to date.
Responsibilities:
Administer HR documentation by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining employment-related forms with a high level of accuracy. Coordinate background screening activities, track results, and follow up on outstanding items to support timely hiring decisions. Support day-to-day HR administration, including employee file maintenance, record updates, and document retention practices. Draft and organize clear correspondence related to HR and legal documentation while ensuring confidentiality and consistency. Assist with benefits-related administrative tasks such as enrollment paperwork, status changes, and employee inquiries. Monitor compliance-related paperwork and confirm required forms are completed in accordance with company and regulatory expectations. Partner with internal teams to collect, verify, and process personnel information needed for onboarding and ongoing employment administration. Experience in human resources administration, including document handling and employee record support. Working knowledge of employment forms, legal documentation, and confidential file management. Ability to coordinate background checks and track pre-employment requirements through completion. Strong written communication skills for preparing clear and accurate legal or HR correspondence. Familiarity with benefits administration and related employee support activities. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized manner. Proficiency with standard office systems and HR-related administrative processes.
