Job Description
HR Coordinator We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, credential compliance, retention, employee engagement, and human resources administration. HR Coordinator Schedule Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Position includes participation in a rotating remote on-call schedule. HR Coordinator Benefits $24-$25/hour Paid Time Off (PTO) Sick Paid Time Off (SPTO), including mental health and wellness days Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer matching Paid holidays Additional paid remote on-call HR Coordinator Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Branch Manager, Recruiter, and office team to support daily operations and all human resources functions. Oversee the recruiting process by working closely with the Recruiter to attract, interview, and hire qualified CNAs and Nurses. Monitor recruiting progress, maintain hiring pipelines, and ensure candidates move efficiently through the hiring process. Conduct weekly new hire orientations for CNAs and Nurses, creating a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience. Coordinate and assist with all onboarding activities, ensuring new hires complete required documentation, training, and compliance requirements. Verify, collect, maintain, and track employee credentials including professional licenses, CPR certifications, driver's licenses, auto insurance, tuberculosis documentation, and other required employment records. Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases, tracking systems, and internal reports. Schedule and coordinate annual employee reviews and ensure completion of required annual education, training, and continuing education (CEUs). Monitor compliance deadlines and proactively communicate with employees regarding expiring credentials and required documentation. Perform employee retention outreach, including regular follow-up communication with field staff throughout their employment. Plan and coordinate employee appreciation initiatives, recognition programs, employee events, and retention activities to promote engagement and long-term retention. Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, onboarding, training, and employment documentation while providing exceptional customer service. Collaborate with leadership and office staff to support HR initiatives, operational needs, process improvements, and company culture. Participate in a rotating remote on-call schedule, providing after-hours support for staffing, employee, and operational needs as assigned. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information and documentation. HR Coordinator Qualifications Previous human resources, recruiting, onboarding, or administrative experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, home care, or staffing is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with applicants, employees, and leadership. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and compliant employee records. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HR and scheduling software (ABS experience is a plus). Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Willingness to participate in a rotating remote on-call schedule.
