Non-Exempt (Hourly) Position Summary The HR and Business Office Coordinator supports human resources functions, onboarding, personnel file compliance, and business office operations for the hospice agency. This role ensures employee documentation, credentialing, and administrative processes meet regulatory standards including CHAP, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and state licensing requirements. The position also assists with business office workflows, payroll support, and general administrative coordination. Key Responsibilities Employee Onboarding & Orientation Coordinate onboarding, prepare new hire packets, verify employment eligibility, track pre-employment requirements, and schedule orientation sessions. Personnel File Compliance & Credential Tracking Maintain audit-ready employee files, track license and certification expirations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. HR Administrative Support Assist with employee status changes, HR documentation processing, benefits paperwork, and HR reporting support. Survey & Regulatory Readiness Maintain HR compliance binders, prepare documentation for surveys, and support HR-related QAPI activities. Business Office Support Assist BOM with administrative operations, payroll data collection, timekeeping review, supply coordination, vendor communication, and general office support. Office Operations Coordination Support front-office workflow, maintain records systems, assist with scheduling logistics, and help ensure efficient daily office operations. Qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years experience in HR administration or healthcare office support preferred. Experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare setting strongly preferred. Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of HR documentation and onboarding processes Understanding of healthcare credentialing requirements preferred Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong attention to detail and compliance focus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems
