Job Description
Job Overview We're looking for a sharp, organized, and tech-savvy HR Coordinator to keep our HVAC team running like a well-oiled compressor. This role handles the full employee lifecycle—from smooth, welcoming onboarding to tidy and compliant termination paperwork—while managing PTO tracking, maintaining accurate employee files, and ensuring we stay aligned with all partner requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to all facets of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. As a key member of our HR team, you will facilitate smooth HR operations, support strategic planning efforts, and ensure a positive employee experience across the organization. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help foster an engaging and compliant workplace environment. You'll prepare payroll with precision, meet deadlines without breaking a sweat, deploy and track company devices, and work confidently in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Duties Enhance the employee onboarding experience by leading an informative orientation and creating employee file. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing through CoAdvantage. Support human capital management initiatives by assisting with performance management cycles, employee evaluations, succession planning, and talent management strategies. Maintain compliance with employment laws such as
FMLA, OSHA
regulations, and labor law requirements; prepare necessary documentation for audits and reporting. Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns promptly, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting positive communication across teams. Assist in organizational design projects and change management initiatives to optimize workforce effectiveness and streamline HR processes. Oversee HRIS data collection and reporting to support strategic planning efforts. Support benefits administration by processing payroll data via CoAdvantage; ensure accuracy in data entry and compliance with company policies. Collaborate with leadership on affirmative action planning, diversity initiatives, and social media management related to employer branding efforts. Perform administrative tasks including document preparation for contracts, data entry for HR records, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Experience Proven experience in human resources coordination or generalist roles within fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of human resources management practices including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance standards such as OSHA and labor law regulations. Positive and collaborative attitude Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while fostering a positive work environment through conflict management and active listening skills. Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, report generation, contract preparation, and social media engagement is preferred.
