Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a Bi-Lingual Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks and providing support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The Office Assistant will help support multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. Schedule is Monday- Friday and some Saturdays, 7:00am- 3:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls; assist callers or take accurate messages for the appropriate individual Greet and direct walk-in customers and vendors in a pleasant, respectful, and professional manner Assist with data entry, report preparation, and general administrative tasks Order and maintain office and plant supplies as needed Assist with new hire and transfer onboarding by helping employees complete required paperwork, conducting plant orientations, and submitting all documentation to HR and/or Payroll in a timely manner Submit disciplinary documentation and personnel changes to the appropriate HR and/or Payroll contacts Serve as a professional, approachable resource for employees by addressing general questions and escalating issues to the Regional HR Generalist or Payroll as appropriate, ensuring closed-loop communication Maintain a clean, organized office area; assist with organization within the plant as needed Assist with plant payroll data entry and ensure accurate and timely submission Assist employees with submitting PTO requests and related inquiries Maintain digital and paper employee files; assist with complaint and injury reporting, attendance tracking, point entry, and payroll corrections Administer and uphold safety standards Perform other duties as assigned This list of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that senior management may deem necessary.
Qualifications/Skills:
Previous experience as an Office Assistant or other administrative role preferred Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (MS Outlook and MS Excel, are required) Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages, verbally and in writing.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
