Elk Grove Village is located in Cook and DuPage Counties adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and is home to approximately 3,600 businesses, located in its 5.4 square mile Business Park. The Office of Human Resources (HR) is a division of the Village Manager's Office. Staff within HR are the stewards of the Village's greatest strategic asset and are responsible for championing a unified and dedicated workforce. Areas of focus for the Office of Human Resources include strategic talent management; onboarding and professional development; compensation and benefits administration; employee recognition and engagement; personnel records and data integrity; employee and labor relations; and regulatory compliance and policy implementation. The Administrative Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services and maintaining accurate, confidential employee records. This position serves as a point of contact for employees, applicants, and staff while supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and other HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer service-focused, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
