Human Resources/ Accounts Payable Assistant
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
The Human Resources Assistant position plays a key role in supporting the management policies and business operations of the County Executive, Human Resources and Elected Officials. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and technical tasks to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the department. Responsibilities include coordinating, participating in, processing and managing confidential and complex human resource functions. These may include but are not limited to employee inquiries and documentation, employment verifications, scheduling of bilingual and notary bond exams, obtaining certificates of insurance, accounts payable and receivables. The HR Assistant handles a diverse portfolio of duties with a strong focus on confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Associate's degree in related field required, bachelor's degree (preferred), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Minimum experience of 1 year performing responsible administrative duties, including accounts payable and receivable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent customer services skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects. Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) such as SAP and Microsoft system Dynamics 365 or related software preferred. Must successfully complete the Beginner Accounts Payable In-Basket Skills Assessment. Human Resources certification, such as SHRM, SPHR, PHR or equivalent, preferred

$21.6346 (Minimum Compensation) - $24.0384/hr. (Maximum Compensation)
