Job Description

Dan Wolf Automotive Group is looking for a reliable, approachable, and organized HR Assistant to join our growing Human Resources team! This position will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, HR administration, and compliance.
Salary:
$40,000-$60,000 per year 20-30 hours per week to start. A formal 90-day workload evaluation will be conducted to determine future scheduling and responsibilities based on business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growing automotive organization.
YOU WILL
Post and maintain job openings and assist with candidate screening. Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Complete and track background checks and pre-employment requirements. Prepare and coordinate new-hire paperwork and onboarding. Assist with HRIS and system setup and maintain accurate employee records. Assist with employee offboarding and related documentation. Respond to routine employee questions and provide professional support. Maintain HR files, spreadsheets, and new-hire/termination reports. Track policy acknowledgments and compliance-related deadlines. Assist with handbook and policy updates. Maintain and track uniform inventory. Provide general administrative and HR support as needed.
YOU HAVE
2+ years of HR experience or relevant internship experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
