Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
Job Overview The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization's HR functions including employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, FMLA management, safety compliance and reporting, onboarding, and hourly recruiting. Working closely with the HR Manager, this position contributes to achieving organizational goals while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. This role provides significant support to warehouse and manufacturing operations , requiring regular presence in operational areas and this is an in-person role. Responsibilities HR Administration & Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy in all employee matters. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee records. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws. Participate in compliance reporting and HR administration. Coordinate employee attendance tracking, reporting, and related communications. In partnership with Plant Management, monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity and quality and generate performance documents for coaching and progressive disciplinary action. Serve as a resource for employees regarding company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations. Provide input on the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support compliance and continuous improvement. Payroll & Benefits Process bi-weekly payroll with a high degree of accuracy. Administer benefits and complete employee benefit data entry. Maintain FMLA administration and employee leave tracking. Employee Experience & Support Onboard and support the full employee lifecycle. Perform hourly recruiting efforts. Use HR technology to enhance employee experience and HR operational efficiency. Promote employee safety, health, and wellness initiatives. Safety & Operational Support Perform safety and OSHA administrative and reporting duties. Provide administrative support for U.S.-wide HR processes. Professional Development Maintain knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, employment law updates, and emerging HR technologies. Qualifications Required 5 to 8 years' experience in a Human Resources role. Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and online benefits administration. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to adapt and reprioritize tasks based on business needs. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. High emotional intelligence [EQ] and a proactive approach to work. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Work Environment Requirements Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment supporting operational teams. Exposure to temperature fluctuations depending on the season and facility conditions. Frequent walking on hard concrete floors. Required use of safety shoes/steel-toe footwear when in operational areas. Workspace is an office in the warehouse environment. Highly Preferred
• Payroll Specialist certification
• HR Certification [SHRM-CP] Preferred OSHA compliance and safety administration experience. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) . Skills Deep understanding of employment law—including FLSA and EEOC — along with regulatory compliance practices and experience applying this knowledge in a manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze data through Excel data analysis techniques to support decision-making processes. Experience in payroll processing, personnel administration, and benefits administration is highly desirable. Skilled in conducting interviews, conflict management, and handling confidential personnel information with discretion. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. Pay:
$57,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
