00 per hour, depending on experience About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support our Accounting and Human Resources departments. This is an in-office, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable juggling financial data entry, vendor/customer communication, and general administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Support (AP/AR) Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions into the accounting system Assist with auditing payables to ensure accuracy and proper approval before payment Assist in collection efforts on outstanding receivables, including contacting customers regarding past-due balances Match invoices to purchase orders/receipts and flag discrepancies Help maintain organized, up-to-date AP/AR records and supporting documentation Human Resources Support Help maintain up to date training records for each employee Assist in Safety efforts Assist with tracking employee time/attendance Assist in the approval process of sick and vacation time General Administrative Duties Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally Greet visitors and manage front-office duties as needed Sort, distribute, and process incoming/outgoing mail Maintain office supplies and coordinate basic office needs Scan, file, and organize both physical and digital records Provide general clerical support to accounting and administrative staff (copying, filing, data entry) Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by administrative departments Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting/business a plus Prior administrative, clerical, or bookkeeping experience preferred Basic understanding of accounting concepts and terminology Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Business Central, or similar) is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Good phone etiquette and customer service skills Ability to handle confidential information (financial and HR-related) with discretion Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines Reliable transportation required — this position is 100% in-office with no remote or hybrid option Physical/Work Environment Standard office environment Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods Occasional light lifting (filing boxes, office supplies Data Link is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
