$55-$75 per hour About the Role We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter who will own full-cycle recruiting across the organization. This is an early-stage, high-ownership opportunity where you will work closely with technical leaders and functional heads to recruit top talent across AI/ML, robotics hardware and software, simulation, robot operations, product, business, and executive operations . The ideal candidate has direct experience recruiting within robotics, autonomy, AI, or another deep-tech environment and is comfortable recruiting for both highly technical and non-technical positions. You should be a proactive sourcer, a strong partner to hiring managers, and an independent recruiter who uses AI and recruiting data to improve sourcing, candidate evaluation, pipeline management, and overall recruiting efficiency. What You'll Do Own the full recruitment lifecycle , from intake and role scoping through sourcing, screening, interviews, offer development, negotiation, and close. Recruit across multiple disciplines, including: AI/ML Robotics hardware Robotics software Simulation Robot operations Product Business Executive operations Develop targeted talent maps and proactively identify passive candidates through: Outbound sourcing Referrals Research labs Universities Conferences Open-source communities Competitor research Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, establish evaluation criteria, calibrate candidate quality, and maintain strong recruiting momentum. Conduct effective candidate screening and provide hiring teams with clear, well-supported candidate assessments. Design and manage interview processes and ensure candidates receive a professional, timely, and transparent experience. Build and improve AI-assisted recruiting workflows for sourcing research, candidate summaries, outreach, scorecard synthesis, market intelligence, and pipeline reporting. Track recruiting metrics such as pipeline health, stage conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance. Use recruiting data to adjust sourcing and hiring strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date ATS records and ensure recruiting processes remain structured and consistent. Manage offer discussions, including compensation, competing offers, relocation, and visa considerations. Work independently while collaborating closely with technical and functional leadership. Required Qualifications 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience , with a proven track record of closing senior and hard-to-fill positions. Direct recruiting experience within robotics, autonomy, AI, or a comparable deep-tech environment. Experience recruiting across AI/ML, hardware, and software engineering , as well as non-technical functions such as operations, product, and business. Strong technical recruiting ability, with the ability to understand technical resumes, research papers, GitHub profiles, and candidate projects. Demonstrated ability to have substantive conversations with technical candidates and understand their work. Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude or comparable AI assistants as part of your recruiting workflow. Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-powered recruiting processes . Strong sourcing skills, including: Boolean search X-Ray search LinkedIn Recruiter GitHub Google Scholar Passive candidate sourcing Strong candidate closing and offer negotiation skills. Experience handling compensation discussions, equity, relocation, and visa considerations. Experience using ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Rippling, or similar systems . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday from either the Cambridge, MA or San Francisco, CA office . Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience recruiting during rapid post-funding or startup growth. Existing network within the Boston/Cambridge or Bay Area robotics and AI communities . Experience recruiting research-oriented candidates, including PhDs, researchers, and candidates with publication or laboratory backgrounds. Familiarity with hardware development timelines and how hiring supports build, testing, and production milestones. Experience creating prompt libraries, custom AI agents, or internal AI recruiting tools.
