About the Opportunity GAMA-1 Technologies seeks a Workplace Experience Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and compliance support across the employee lifecycle in a telework environment. This role ensures consistent execution of talent acquisition coordination, onboarding, and offboarding processes, learning administration, employee record management, and People Resource Center support. You will serve as a key connector across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT, Security, and Business Units — helping ensure that every employee experience is smooth, compliant, and aligned with GAMA-1's Organizational Goals. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-minded, and energized by process excellence in a structured, mission-driven environment. What Will the Candidate Do? Coordinate recruitment scheduling, documentation tracking, and compliance recordkeeping throughout the hiring lifecycle Maintain requisition documentation in alignment with internal hiring procedures and support candidate lifecycle activities within HR systems with accurate status tracking Initiate and monitor background checks and other pre-employment requirements Serve as liaison between new hires, hiring managers, CORs, and internal teams, and communicate start-date clearances and onboarding readiness Ensure accurate completion of I-9 documentation and E-Verify processing Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate pre-hire and day-one onboarding activities, including system access requests, badging coordination, and required employee acknowledgments Maintain onboarding records in accordance with internal procedures and external compliance standards Support employee separation workflows including checklist management, required documentation, equipment return, system access removal, and employee record updates Coordinate training logistics including course assignments, scheduling, tracking, and reporting, and maintain training records and completion documentation Support employee development initiatives aligned with leadership journeys and workforce planning Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems such as UKG Ready, ensure documentation completeness, and maintain audit readiness of employee files Maintain People Operations templates, resources, and controlled documentation, and support compliance with applicable employment laws and internal policies Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries through the People Resource Center and track employee recognition milestones while supporting internal communications initiatives Maintain program records and reporting metrics Support the GAMA-Gateway employee resource portal through content updates, information posting, and resource maintenance What Will the Candidate Bring? Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-4 years of administrative or HR operations support experience Experience in maintaining confidential employee records Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HRIS platforms (UKG Ready or similar) Familiarity with ISO-aligned documentation or structured compliance environments Experience supporting onboarding, learning programs, or employee lifecycle processes Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations Experience in a federal contracting or mission-focused environment Work environment This work is normally completed in a telework environment with occasional trips to the headquarters office in Greenbelt, MD. Physical demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's and client facilities. This includes acquiring a thorough understanding of job-specific responsibilities, systems, and workflows as outlined during onboarding and training.
