Job Summary The HR Coordinator ensures compliance with a wide variety of personnel policies and procedures, employment laws, policies and procedures for the corporation, with emphasis on the employee lifecycle process. The HR Coordinator is directly responsible for a wide range of professional and technical human resource tasks. This position provides skilled support to the Human Resources (HR) department, is responsible for complex confidential duties and requires use of sound judgment in dealing with staff and the ability to initiate and manage projects independently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate new hire on-boarding activities and facilitation of New Employee Orientation Responsible for managing the main HR email, phone line, and voicemail box Maintain neat and professional decorum Assist employees, vendors, and guest's issues/concerns as needed Responsible for department mail and fax machine monitoring Responsible for tracking employee license/certification expiration dates in the
HRIS/LMS
programs and reporting Responsible for data entry and data maintenance in the HRIS, LMS and document database program. Responsible for maintaining the HRIS recruiting and onboarding modules Generate and distributes monthly Human Resources reports and other correspondence as needed Assists general manager in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, through educational opportunities Assists with administration of Work-related Illness and Injury Program and preparation of required logs/reports for all locations Assists with administration of corporate leave policies including FMLA and inquiries from employees/managers when needed Assists with administration of the Drug-Free Workplace Program Assists with daily Human Resources functions including but not limited to Workers Compensation, Unemployment, Employee Health, and Employee Relations Follow established corporate and department-specific policies and procedures Attend all corporate and department-specific required training All other job duties as assigned.
