Job Description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who has exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, is organized, and can foster positive working relationships in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Technician performing a full range of human resources activities servicing the Quality-of-Life Agencies (DNR, EGLE and MDARD) Characteristics, behaviors, and personality traits of our ideal candidate include: Ability to investigate, analyze, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements Ability to manage many tasks and responsibilities effectively at the same time while frequently switching between tasks An ability to plan-ahead to problem solve and avoid potential issues An understanding for sense of urgency in particular matters Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
