Job Description

aginaw Control & Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This position will initially focus heavily on administrative support, including maintaining employee files, scanning and organizing records, applicant tracking, and conducting pre-screening calls with job applicants. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling detailed administrative work while gaining exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources. What You'll Do Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files Scan, file, and manage electronic and paper HR records Conduct pre-screening phone calls with job applicants Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews Maintain applicant information and recruiting records Assist with new hire paperwork and employee documentation Support benefits administration, including new hire enrollments and employee questions Assist with workers' compensation tracking and documentation Prepare and distribute HR communications, company memos, benefit information, and other employee documentation Provide general administrative support to the HR team Take on additional HR responsibilities and projects as knowledge and experience grow What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage repetitive, detail-oriented administrative tasks accurately and efficiently Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and comfortable communicating with job applicants by phone Ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow through on assigned tasks Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and general computer systems Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Previous HR or administrative experience preferred Why Join SCE Health, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One Opportunity to learn and grow into additional HR responsibilities Exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources Stable, growing manufacturing environment
