About the
Role:
The Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization is optimally staffed to meet operational demands and business objectives. This position involves onboarding healthcare staff into the electronic visit verification system, managing schedules, and maintaining clear communication between staff and clients. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for onboarding new employees, Creating schedules in the EVV system, communicaticating with case managers and clients, reporting effectively to the Chief Staffing Coordinator and Administrator and ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved. By effectively managing staffing resources and anticipating workforce needs, this role directly contributes to the organization's productivity and employee satisfaction. Ultimately, the Staffing Coordinator assistant supports the company's growth and success by aligning strategies with organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer and technical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with MDHHS rules and regulations. Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to improve recruitment processes. Experience with onboarding software and employee management systems.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and communication. Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, job requisitions, and hiring status using applicant tracking systems. Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and training schedules are completed. Monitor staffing levels and proactively identify potential gaps or surpluses to recommend adjustments. Communicate regularly with candidates and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues promptly. Support compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and staffing process.
Skills:
The Staffing Coordinator assistant utilizes strong organizational and communication and computer skills daily to manage multiple onboarding and scheduling projects and maintain clear, professional interactions with staff and clients. Proficiency in EVV and Microsoft Office enables efficient handling of staff onboarding and scheduling tasks. Analytical skills are applied to monitor staffing trends and recommend adjustments to meet workforce demands. Knowledge of MDHHS ensures compliance throughout the hiring process, reducing risk for the organization. Additionally, interpersonal skills foster positive relationships and collaboration across departments, contributing to a smooth and effective staffing operation. 9am-1pm 10am-2pm 11am-3pm Hours may increase as workload increases.
