Job Description
Position Summary The Salvation Army Northern Division Human Resources Administrative Assistant II is responsible for assisting with various HR tasks, maintaining employee records, and providing general administrative support to the HR team. $20.14 to $23 per hour 20 hours a week, TEMPORARY position for up to 12 weeks 2445 Prior Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113 Essential Functions (approximate time spent) Assist with maintaining the employee paperwork lifecycle for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity by accurately entering and maintaining applicant and employee data and files. (50%) Assist with creating and managing internal and external job postings. (20%) Respond to inquiries from employees, providing guidance and support. (15%) Complete employment verifications and assist with gathering audit data. (10%) Disseminate applicant and employee information between hiring managers, payroll, and HR. (10%) Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior relevant experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or related field. Must pass background checks. Competencies Flexible interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. High level of honor in dealing with confidential information. Works with integrity, valuing honesty, and diligence. Proficient with database systems, PC, Microsoft Office, and standard office equipment. Working Conditions Mostly sedentary work, sitting for long periods of time and working on a computer with some periods of bending, lifting, reaching, and crouching. Professional environment; not eligible for a remote-friendly work environment. Must be able communicate clearly in English, and work in person or on the phone. Must be able to occasionally lift 30 pounds. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Travel Requirements None.
