Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition efforts by coordinating recruiting activities, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding processes. Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires understand company policies, benefits, and organizational culture. Support employee evaluation and performance management processes through data collection, documentation, and communication. Administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and handling employee inquiries related to compensation and perks. Maintain accurate HR records using HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle HCM. Contribute to workforce management initiatives by supporting project management tasks related to organization design, succession planning, and change management strategies. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations such as FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), Workers' Compensation policies, and labor law requirements through diligent recordkeeping and policy updates. Requirements Proven experience in human resources or personnel administration within an HR department environment. Strong knowledge of human capital management practices, employment law, and HR legal compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation purposes. Familiarity with HR systems such as Kronos, Ceridian, Paychex, or Oracle HCM for payroll processing and data entry tasks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of recruiting tools like ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms and sourcing strategies for effective talent acquisition.
