We're looking for an HR & Benefits Administrator who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with employees and leadership, and helping keep our HR operations organized and running smoothly. Position Overview The HR & Benefits Administrator plays an important role in supporting employees across all Fibersmith locations and managing our day-to-day HR operations. This position manages employee benefits, supports recruiting and hiring efforts, assists with HR compliance, and helps ensure a positive employee experience from initial application through employment. You'll work closely with employees and managers across the organization while also helping coordinate priorities and provide guidance for an administrative support position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefit programs, and coordinate annual open enrollment. Coordinate recruiting activities, including posting open positions, reviewing applications, conducting initial candidate screenings, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. Support recruiting and hiring needs across all company locations. Maintain accurate HRIS and employee records and assist with compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. Coordinate and support employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Serve as an HR and benefits resource for employees and managers across all company locations. Provide guidance and coordination for an administrative support role. Assist with general office and administrative needs as required. Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience. Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of HR, benefits administration, or recruiting experience; experience with a small to mid-sized company is preferred. Working knowledge of HR processes, recruiting, benefits administration, and employment compliance. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, candidates, and leadership across the organization. Comfortable conducting initial candidate screenings and communicating professionally with applicants throughout the hiring process. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
