Overview Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive our talent management initiatives forward! In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, enhance employee engagement, and uphold our commitment to compliance and excellence in human resources management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our organization's success. Duties Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are welcomed, informed about company policies, and integrated smoothly into the team. Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data, preparing documentation, and assisting with performance management initiatives. Manage benefits administration tasks including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Assist with compliance activities such as affirmative action planning, OSHA regulations adherence, FMLA administration, and employment law compliance. Handle confidential information with integrity while supporting HR department projects related to organization design, succession planning, training & development programs, and employee relations. Experience Prior experience in an HR department or human resources management role is preferred; familiarity with HR legal compliance and employment & labor law is highly valued, but not required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry, report generation, and analysis. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively and foster positive employee relations. Experience supporting benefits administration processes including payroll processing and workers' compensation procedures will be advantageous. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills; project management experience is desirable. Pay:
$30,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
