HR + Payroll Compliance Clerk (Part-Time / 20 hours per week / 10-Month Option)

Compensation:
$25.00 - $27.00 hourly 1.
Payroll Administration & Processing Bi-Weekly Payroll:
Execute the accurate processing and entry of the bi-weekly payroll within the Associations' payroll system.
System Maintenance:
Input all new hires, process payroll adjustments, track employee information updates, and maintain up-to-date wage schedules (exempt, non-exempt, and student).
Stipends & Adjustments:
Facilitate the processing of annual stipend schedules for coaches, RAs, PNs, and advisors to ensure timely, accurate disbursement.
Hours Monitoring:
Track and monitor employee hours worked to assist with strict compliance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). 2. Onboarding & I-9
Compliance New Hire Coordination:
Manage the administrative onboarding lifecycle for all full-time, part-time, and student employees, ensuring a smooth, professional entry into
MCCA. I-9
&
Verifications:
Serve as the primary agent for Form I-9 verification and employment eligibility processing, ensuring absolute regulatory compliance and document retention for U.S citizens and international employees.
Orientation Support:
Facilitate new employee hiring intake and administrative orientations, briefing incoming staff on employee policies and procedures.
File Management:
Create and organize secure personnel, payroll, and medical tracking files in alignment with legal standards.
Required Qualifications Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Significant experience directly processing payroll and/or handling HR onboarding and compliance administration.
Technical Skills:
Experience utilizing online HRIS and Payroll software systems, alongside proficiency in the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a higher education setting or supporting international student workflows is highly preferred. Experience working with Paycom - HR + Payroll Software.
