Job Description

Human Resources Assistant Blue Ash, Ohio (Onsite) Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week
Pay Range:
$44,600.00 to $53,890.00 ( commensurate with experience) Your Support. Their Success. Your Best Career Move. At COA of Southwestern Ohio, you'll help build and support the teams who serve older adults and caregivers every day. As a Human Resources Assistant, you'll bring organization, accuracy, and care to work that truly makes a difference—while enjoying the trust, stability, and support to thrive in your own life. What You'll Do In this role, you'll work in our People Services Division -Workforce Administration —supporting HR operations, ensuring compliance, and creating a welcoming experience for new employees.
You will:
Process new hire paperwork & maintain HRIS data Support onboarding and serve as the first point of contact for new staff Maintain personnel, medical, payroll & training files Complete monthly background and licensure checks Ensure I-9 compliance and manage required screenings Administer FMLA and coordinate with payroll/IT Handle employee changes, verifications & general HR support Contribute to a team that values accuracy, empathy & mission alignment What You Bring 4+ years administrative experience (HR experience a plus) Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent communication, customer service, and attention to detail Ability to adapt, stay organized, and collaborate Valid driver's license and local travel as needed Why COA?
