$59,301.00- $75,208.
PRIMARY DUTIES
To assist and support the Human Resources Department in all areas for the benefit and smooth operation of the school district. Responsibilities include, but not limited to FMLA, staff licensure, classified contracts, basic knowledge of all union contracts, maintain staffing reports, background checks, Frontline Navigator, post positions on AppliTrack, entering and updating data in personnel state reporting program, responsible for employment forms, files, emails, phones and staffing. Maintain the day to day operations of the Personnel Department working directly with the Director of Human Resources.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills :
Must be proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing software; demonstrate skill in the use of technology, accessing the internet and office management; be able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks; have ability to work with a minimum of supervision; excellent typing and proofreading skills; be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff members and the public; be able to improvise in difficult and/or unusual situations, and function under stress.Characteristics/Traits :
Must demonstrate skill in human relations and in working with a variety of people and groups; possess a professional demeanor, capable of exercising discretion and good judgment; be self-motivated, task-oriented, punctual, dependable in attendance, and have reliable work habits; maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance; maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.Education/Training :
High School diploma is required; higher education course credit and /or job related training preferred.Experience :
Previous secretarial and/or clerical experience required including use of Word (including mail merge), Excel (including charts, formulas) and personnel software.
