Human Resources Coordinator Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on and organized Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing team. This position will be responsible for day-to-day HR activities, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee records, training, and compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to handle confidential employee information with discretion. This role will work closely with management and employees to ensure HR processes are handled efficiently and effectively. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate recruiting and talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates through online job boards, outside programs, and staffing agencies Conduct and coordinate interviews and assist management with candidate selection Manage the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, training coordination, and employee setup Process payroll through systems such as QuickBooks and ADP, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and ongoing employee support Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Support performance evaluations and employee performance management processes Assist with employee relations, including addressing employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues Coordinate employee training and development programs and maintain training records Support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, workers' compensation, and other HR requirements Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information Work with management to develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes Maintain HR information within ERP and QMS systems as needed Assist with general HR projects and administrative responsibilities as the company continues to grow Requirements Previous experience in human resources or a related administrative role Working knowledge of employment practices, labor laws, and HR compliance requirements Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and workers' compensation is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Comfortable conducting interviews and working directly with employees and management Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Experience with payroll, ERP, or QMS systems is a plus Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is willing to take ownership of the HR function and help build efficient processes as our organization grows. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
