Human Resources Manager Position Summary Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with a variety of human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and employee relations. This role is critical to ensuring a positive employee experience and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes. Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and pre-employment requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records in compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulatory requirements. Process employee status changes, terminations, and other personnel actions. Support benefits administration by assisting employees with enrollment, changes, and general inquiries. Track and maintain required certifications, licenses, and healthcare compliance documentation. Assist with employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and departmental events. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Generate reports and maintain HR databases and tracking systems. Support payroll-related processes by ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, employment laws, and organizational policies. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, correspondence, and scheduling. Qualifications Required Associate or higher degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 1 year of administrative or HR-related experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information. Customer-service-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse employee groups. Must have a valid Driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare, hospital, long-term care, or medical practice setting. Knowledge of HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and credentialing processes. Professional HR certification (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
