In person We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at our food-manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS systems, and employment-law compliance. Responsibilities Review and correct employee timecards. Assist with payroll processing and provide backup payroll support. Post job openings, review résumés, and schedule interviews. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation. Prepare and maintain employee documentation and personnel files. Maintain accurate employee and temporary-worker information in the HRIS. Review temporary-employee timesheets and submit them to staffing agencies. Support benefits enrollment, changes, billing reconciliation, and COBRA processing. Maintain attendance, vacation, I-9, training, benefits, and payroll records. Assist with EEO-1, OSHA, workers' compensation, and other compliance reporting. Conduct required employee training and maintain training records. Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist management with employee relations and conflict resolution. Support HR projects, engagement activities, and HR data collection. Stay current with employment laws and company compliance requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. At least three years of HR experience as an HR Coordinator, Assistant HR Manager, or similar role. Payroll-processing experience is required. Experience with benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and HRIS data entry. Knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, workers' compensation, and harassment-prevention requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer, organizational, and data-entry skills. Food-manufacturing experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
