Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Assistant and become a vital contributor to our organization's people-centric initiatives! Duties Assist with talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates through HR systems like Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS, and supporting interview scheduling and candidate communication Coordinate employee orientation sessions and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are welcomed and well-informed about company policies and benefits Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by gathering data, maintaining records, and assisting with performance review processes Administer benefits programs and manage benefits documentation using HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or UltiPro Handle confidential personnel information with integrity while ensuring compliance with employment law and HR legal standards Contribute to HR projects related to change management, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and workforce management strategies Support training & development programs by organizing sessions, tracking participation, and assisting with training logistics Maintain accurate data entry in HR systems like Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft for payroll processing, FMLA documentation, workers' compensation claims, and other personnel administration tasks Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues Experience Previous experience in an HR department or administrative role supporting human resources functions is highly preferred Familiarity with human capital management tools such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or Kronos enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong understanding of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance is essential for maintaining workplace standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel for data analysis—and experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like Lever or iCIMS is advantageous Excellent communication skills paired with organizational abilities enable effective collaboration across teams and departments Demonstrated project management skills help drive HR initiatives forward efficiently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while adhering to regulatory requirements ensures trustworthiness in this pivotal role Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for human resources can flourish!
