Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Coordinator to support human resources operations at our hotel in Tempe, AZ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with leadership, improving workplace culture, and ensuring compliance while maintaining a positive employee experience. You will work directly with hotel leadership to support employee performance, relations, and HR processes. Key Responsibilities Employee Performance & Relations Conduct biweekly performance reviews based on feedback from department leaders Facilitate monthly meetings to address concerns and development opportunities Manage employee relations, including handling complaints, concerns, and conflict resolution Promote a positive work environment and improve employee engagement HR Operations Oversee employee onboarding , ensuring completion of all required documentation and compliance Track and manage PTO, sick time, attendance, and callouts Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Handle employee violations, issue warnings, and assist with disciplinary actions including terminations Compliance & Policy Management Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws (FLSA, OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA) Maintain and update the employee handbook and workplace policies Support workers' compensation processes Strategic HR Support Forecast hiring needs with leadership based on business demands Assist in recruiting and staffing planning Conduct employee surveys and develop strategies to improve morale and reduce turnover Qualifications Prior experience in HR, office management, or administrative roles preferred Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of basic HR practices and labor law compliance is an asset Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a part-time capacity What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule ~10 hours/week (Hybrid and remote) Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Opportunity to play a key role in shaping workplace culture Collaborative and supportive team environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction outlining your HR experience and availability.
