This is a great fit for someone who l oves the details, enjoys supporting employees, is comfortable pivoting between priorities, and knows how to solve a problem like a pro. You'll work across multiple clients, HR systems, and projects, helping our clients take great care of their people while making sure the behind-the-scenes HR work is accurate, organized, and moving forward. What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will have: 4+ years of hands-on HR administration, HR operations, benefits administration, or HR generalist experience Strong benefits administration experience Experience working in multiple HRIS and/or payroll systems Strong knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and day-to-day HR processes Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating across multiple participants Strong technology skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly Excellent organization and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to independently manage multiple priorities and follow work through to completion A proactive approach—you notice missing information, upcoming deadlines, and next steps without needing someone to point them out Good HR judgment and the ability to recognize when something needs to be escalated Comfort communicating directly with employees, clients, brokers, vendors, and HR technology providers A high level of discretion when handling confidential employee information Must be located in the Pacific Time Zone. Portland metro-area candidates are strongly preferred. Experience with Gusto, GoCo, Paylocity, or similar HR/payroll platforms is a plus. Experience supporting multi-state employers or working in HR consulting, outsourced HR, a PEO, or benefits environment is also helpful. SHRM-CP, PHR, or a similar certification is preferred but not required. This Role May Be a Great Fit If… You're the person who likes making sure things actually get done. You enjoy tracking details, organizing information, following up, solving problems, and creating a great experience for employees and clients. You can move comfortably between different clients and systems and don't need a step-by-step checklist to manage routine HR work. This is not an administrative assistant position. We're looking for someone who already understands HR and can independently own routine HR administration and operations. You will not be expected to independently handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, terminations, legal interpretations, compensation strategy, or executive-level HR consulting. Those matters will remain with Frost HR leadership. Schedule This is a part-time position beginning at approximately 10-15 hours per week during typical business hours Mon-Fri. Hours may fluctuate based on client and business needs and are not guaranteed from week to week. There is potential for the position to grow as Frost HR continues to grow. The position is remote, but you must be located in the Pacific Time Zone and available during normal Pacific Time business hours. Portland metro-area candidates are preferred because occasional local availability may be helpful as the role evolves. About Frost HR Consulting Services At Frost HR, we get to work with some pretty amazing organizations. Our clients care deeply about their people and the workplaces they're creating. They want to do HR well—not simply check boxes—and they rely on us for practical, thoughtful HR support. Our work is varied, fast-moving, and meaningful. One day you may be supporting a benefits enrollment, the next organizing an onboarding process, updating an HRIS, helping with a handbook project, or making sure an employee experience runs smoothly behind the scenes. If you love the details, enjoy supporting people, and take pride in being organized, responsive, reliable, and helpful, we'd love to hear from you.
