Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the human resources business plan execution in the areas of recruiting, training, performance management, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, employee activities and corporate/legal compliance with the overall objective of driving employee engagement and business results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide daily administrative support to the Human Resources department. Assist with processing employee changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, department changes, terminations, and other employment status updates. Prepare HR correspondence, forms, reports, spreadsheets, employee notices, and other documentation. Assist employees and managers with routine HR questions and direct more complex matters to HR leadership. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, payroll, benefits, medical, and Company information. Assist with posting and maintaining open positions. Review applications and resumes for basic qualifications. Coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting agencies. Prepare letters and pre-employment documentation. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and other required screenings. Ensure required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely. Enter new employees into applicable HR, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems. Coordinate orientation schedules with managers and other departments. Conduct or assist with new-hire orientation. Ensure employees receive required Company policies, procedures, safety information, and other onboarding materials. Follow up on outstanding new-hire documentation and training requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Associate's degree in Business Administration Required.
Experience:
1 - 3 years in Human Resource related profession preferred
Skills:
Strong computer skills Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Ability to interface with people at all levels. Positive professional image with good presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and maturity Sense of urgency to meet deadlines; self-directed
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
