Job Description

Job Summary:
This person is responsible for recruitment and retention of field staff. Will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment (posting jobs, scheduling interviews), processing onboarding paperwork, and updating HR databases. They ensure data accuracy, handle confidential information, and often manage attendance records, payroll documents, and employee inquiries. He/she is responsible for acquiring quality people and keeping them as long as possible - focus on recruitment, retention, and records.
Key Responsibilities:
Record Management:
Maintain physical and digital employee files, including updating personal information, tracking benefits, and managing attendance records.
Recruitment Support:
Publish job ads, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
Assist with new hire orientation and processing exit paperwork.
Data Entry:
Update HR databases and spreadsheets with high accuracy.
Administrative Tasks:
Answer employee queries regarding policies and procedures, process payroll-related documents, and prepare reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required 1-2 years of administrative experience, ideally within an HR department. Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word and Teams) Strong verbal and written communication skills are important. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Common Tasks:
Scanning and filing personnel records. Verifying timekeeping records for payroll. Conduct background checks. Answering phones and directing inquiries.
