Job Description

Summary/Objective:
Is responsible for acquiring and maintaining employee benefits.
Employee benefits will include:
health, vision, dental insurance; 401K plans and life insurance. The HR Benefits Administrator will also support the day-to-day operations of the organization. This position will report to the HR Director.
Job Duties:
  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as health, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and any other wellness benefits.
  • Administers Cobra.
  • Prepare for benefits enrollment to qualifying employees.
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
  • Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
  • Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly employee reports, new-hire, and terminated reports.
  • Maintain and update company organizational charts, bulletin boards, and other requested reports as needed.
  • Assist HR manager in completing benefits reporting requirements.
  • Cover Social Events at the plant, newsletter, in plant-TV announcement
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, speak English.
  • Bilingual required.
  • Paycom experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Must have exceptional accuracy, strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field or 2 years+ experience in high volume benefits and compensation administration.

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
