Administrative Specialist (Bilingual English/Mandarin)

HR Manager Position Summary TOYO Solar Texas LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to support daily administrative operations across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and are able to translate written and verbal communications between both languages to support management, employees, and business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Ø Assist with office management tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining filing systems, and organizing documents Ø Develop and implement organized filing systems Ø Greet visitors and clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk Ø Receive, sort and deliver mails and packages Ø Manage the Solar4America Calendar, including Conference Room Ø Coordinate projects and assist with project management tasks as assigned Type and proofread documents, correspondence, and reports as needed Ø Manage occasional, business travel bookings Ø Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations, as they pertain to position including OSHA, harassment, scope of practice Ø Translate written documents, emails, policies, forms, and presentations between Mandarin Chinese and English . Ø Interpret conversations during meetings between English and Mandarin-speaking employees when needed. Ø Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Ø 2 or more years of previous experience in an administrative role Ø Excellent organizational and time management skills Ø Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus Ø Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment Ø Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ø Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping Ø Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic office management principles
Physical Requirements:
Ø Must be able to lift 20-50lbs Ø Position requires sitting, standing, reaching, and lifting for intermittent times Ø Position requires sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day Ø Noise level is moderate to high
Preferred Qualifications:
Ø Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese (Preferred) Ø Ability to accurately translate written and verbal communications between Mandarin Chinese and English. Ø Experience supporting U.S. and Overseas management teams. Ø Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial operations. Ø Knowledge of office administration, purchasing, HR, or operations support.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
