Start Your Career in Human Resources! Are you organized, energetic, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people? Do you have a knack for keeping things on track, communicating professionally, and making sure no detail gets missed? Sames Auto Group is looking for an HR Office Assistant to join our growing Human Resources team! This is more than an administrative position—it's an opportunity to build a career in Human Resources . You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, interact with employees and leaders throughout the organization, and gain exposure to a variety of HR functions. What You'll Do You'll help keep our HR department running smoothly by: Serving as a professional first point of contact for employees, applicants, and visitors. Coordinating interviews, meetings, orientations, and HR appointments. Supporting new hire onboarding and following up on outstanding documentation. Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records. Preparing emails, letters, memos, reports, and other HR communications. Following up with employees and managers on missing documents, signatures, training, and other HR requirements. Assisting with reports, spreadsheets, tracking systems, and HR projects. Learning and utilizing HRIS, payroll, scheduling, document management, and other technology platforms. Using modern technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline HR processes. Supporting benefits administration and other HR functions as assigned. Handling sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality. Supporting special projects, employee events, training initiatives, and other HR department activities.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Highly organized and doesn't let details fall through the cracks. Confident and professional when communicating with employees and leaders. A natural follow-through person who takes ownership and gets things done. Solutions-focused and able to stay calm when priorities change. Tech-savvy and excited to learn new systems and tools. People-oriented and genuinely enjoys helping others. Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information. Motivated to grow and build a career in Human Resources. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework preferred. 1+ year of office, administrative, customer service, or professional experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Comfortable learning new technology, software, and AI tools. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Previous HR, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, or payroll experience is a plus—but not required . You'll have the opportunity to: Work alongside an experienced HR team.
