In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to benefits administration and compliance management. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, ensuring our employees are engaged, informed, and supported every step of the way. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our organization's success. Duties Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels and external partners. Coordinate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization. Administer benefits programs and handle benefits-related inquiries, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and workers' compensation policies. Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records with precision, ensuring data accuracy for payroll processing, HR reporting, and compliance documentation. Contribute to HR projects related to workforce management, organizational design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and change management strategies. Handle confidential information with integrity while supporting employee relations efforts and conflict management procedures. Proven experience in an HR department role supporting human resources functions. Familiarity with HR systems such as Payroll, 401k and Benefit platforms. Knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, OSHA regulations, and employment law in talent management. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels and external partners. Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Experience in recruiting, personnel administration, benefits administration, and employee relations is highly desirable.
