People & Culture Support Specialist At Bethesda, we believe that how we care for our people reflects our commitment to our mission and the community we serve. We are seeking a People & Culture Support Specialist who will help ensure our team is supported through strong systems, thoughtful coordination, and consistent care—someone who brings organization, reliability, and professionalism to the day-to-day operations of People & Culture. This role supports the core functions of hiring, onboarding, HR operations, payroll and benefits administration, training coordination, and employee engagement. These responsibilities serve as a critical foundation for Bethesda—ensuring that our team members are supported well and that our processes reflect excellence, integrity, and care. The right person will bring structure, follow-through, and attention to detail, while working collaboratively across the organization to support leaders and employees. This role requires someone who values confidentiality, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of ensuring things are done well and on time. You take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and helping others succeed. Outcomes A smooth and professional hiring and onboarding experience, with interviews coordinated promptly and 100% of new hires fully onboarded by their start date. Accurate and well-maintained HR records, with employee files, systems, and compliance documentation consistently up to date and audit-ready. Reliable payroll and benefits administrative support, with documentation prepared accurately and discrepancies identified and resolved quickly. Well-coordinated training and administrative processes, with participation tracked and records maintained with accuracy and consistency. Consistent execution of employee engagement and culture initiatives that support a positive, Christ-centered workplace environment. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of high-level administrative experience required. Some HR experience preferred Demonstrated strength in organization, attention to detail, and administrative coordination. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through with accuracy and timeliness. Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information. Experience supporting processes, systems, or projects with consistency and reliability. Alignment with Bethesda's mission and a desire to support a Christ-centered workplace culture.
