Full-Time, Onsite Position Overview I am seeking an experienced HR Generalist / Payroll Administrator for a confidential client to manage day-to-day HR operations and payroll for our logistics company of approximately 100 employees. This hands-on role supports the full employee lifecycle and serves as a trusted resource to employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Timekeeping Process accurate and timely weekly payroll Manage timekeeping, PTO tracking, payroll adjustments, and reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Serve as primary point of contact for payroll-related questions Human Resources Administration Administer onboarding and offboarding processes Maintain employee records and HR systems Support recruiting, interviews, and offer documentation Assist with employee relations and HR inquiries, including worker's compensation claims Benefits, Compliance & HR Support Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and leave administration Liaise with benefits providers and payroll vendors Maintain HR policies, documentation, and compliance requirements Provide HR guidance to employees and leadership as needed Qualifications & Experience Required 3+ years of HR and payroll administration experience Experience processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees Strong knowledge of HR compliance and confidentiality Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently in a small-company environment Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or similar environments HR or payroll certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP), a plus College degree preferred but not required.
