Job Description
We're looking for a reliable, organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our company. This position will work closely with the HR department to support recruiting, employee administration, onboarding and oversee daily office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in Human Resources and recruiting, while supporting a wide range of HR activities.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with recruiting by sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other recruiting platforms
- Update and maintain job postings on company websites and recruiting platforms
- Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct employment reference checks
- Assist with the employee onboarding process and related pre-employment requirements
- Attend monthly safety meetings and maintain attendance records
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or employee
- Assist with employee communications, office functions, and other HR-related projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of two years of administrative experience
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting or talent acquisition is a plus
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and manage time effectively
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Professional demeanor, along with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, customers, vendors and other employees of the organization, which requires excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
