$80-90K (DOE) Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee payroll, benefits administration, HR compliance, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. Hands-on experience with HR Compliance and Payroll Tax Administration is required. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Benefits Manage payroll processing and payroll tax administration Oversee employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Coordinate annual Open Enrollment Process employee status changes and maintain HR records HR Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Prepare compliance reports (EEO-1, CA Pay Data Reporting, etc.) Manage workers' compensation and unemployment claims Maintain accurate employee personnel files HR Operations Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers Support employee relations and HR policy administration Prepare HR reports and recommend process improvements Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training programs Qualifications Required 5+ years of Human Resources experience Hands-on experience with HR Compliance and Payroll Tax Administration Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Bachelor's degree Multi-state HR experience Japanese or Spanish language skills are a plus Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented and dependable Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Able to manage multiple priorities independently Collaborative, proactive, and service-oriented
