Key Responsibilities:
Direct and mentor a team of recruiters, account managers, and administrative staff to hit aggressive key performance indicators (KPIs). Build a high-performance branch culture centered on accountability, speed-to-fill, quality placements, and continuous workflow improvement. Oversee daily recruitment, onboarding, talent pipeline management, and safety compliance for high-volume staffing accounts. Ensure strict audit compliance across worker documentation, rate cards, placement detail reports, and weekly payroll processing. Take full P&L accountability for the branch, managing budgets, operating margins, gross profit, and overhead expenses. Analyze weekly operational metrics and market trends to drive top-line revenue and margin expansion. Partner with regional leadership to set annual forecasting goals, targets, and strategic initiatives. Serve as the senior escalation point for key client relationships throughout the Commerce and Greater Los Angeles industrial hubs. Partner with client leadership (Warehouse Directors, Operations Managers, HR) to align on headcount forecasting, rate structures, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Conduct regular client site walkthroughs to ensure safety protocol alignment, risk mitigation, and job satisfaction.
Candidate Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of progressive leadership experience managing a high-volume staffing branch (Light Industrial, Warehouse, Logistics, or Transportation sectors required).
Track Record:
Demonstrated success managing a branch P&L, driving revenue growth, and leading daily operational workflows.
Compliance & Financial Acumen:
Strong knowledge of California labor laws, wage/hour regulations, safety practices, and rate card/margin management.
Systems & Tools:
Proficient in enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), vendor management systems (VMS), and MS Office (Excel proficiency required).
Leadership Style:
High-energy, collaborative, and hands-on leader who leads from the front and develops team talent.
Bilingual Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
