Human Resources Manager JOB ID#76392 Description Our client specializes in bathroom remodels and has several offices in Northern California. The Human Resources Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle while aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role combines the functions of human resources, culture development, compliance, and operational excellence to foster a thriving workplace. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while building an inclusive and high-performance culture. Primary Objectives
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan.
  • Oversee Compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Ensure legal compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational structure and workplace planning.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems and employee development plans.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee HR systems, databases, and reporting metrics.
  • Manage OSHA compliance.
  • Hold each department accountable for companies' policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Hiring, recruiting, and onboarding new hires. 2. Holding each department's managers accountable for policies and procedures. 3. Develop and track KPIs related to retention and operational efficiency. 4. Partner with executives and department leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workplace planning. 5. Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and values. 6. Staying on top of all new labor laws and implementing new policies and procedures as needed. 7. Tracking and maintaining all harassment training and WVPP training 8. Processing all terminations and separations according to labor laws. 9. Handle all employee relation issues Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skill, Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources (strongly preferred), Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification:
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Manager position.
Skills:

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Deep knowledge of employment law and HR regulations. Training & Development
  • Coordinate onboarding, new employee orientation, and ongoing training programs.
