Full-Time | Onsite We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a manufacturing facility in Livingston, California. This is a highly visible, onsite leadership opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or operations environment and is comfortable handling both strategic HR initiatives and hands-on employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business and operations leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support. Lead employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, employee complaints, conflict resolution, and performance concerns. Conduct complex and sensitive workplace investigations, including interviews, documentation, evaluation of findings, and recommendations for resolution. Ensure compliance with federal, California, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Coordinate workers' compensation matters, workplace incidents, legal claims, and regulatory issues in partnership with legal counsel, insurance carriers, and claims administrators. Coach and support managers on employee performance, leadership practices, documentation, and HR policies. Develop and facilitate employee and leadership training programs. Support benefits administration and company-wide HR initiatives. Manage employee separations, including terminations, layoffs, exit interviews, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
Human Resources leadership experience within manufacturing, production, distribution, or an operations-focused environment. Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience. In-depth knowledge of California and federal employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and discretion. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, facilitation, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
