HR Supervisor- Cannabis Industry Workforce Enterprises WFE, Inc. - 2.8 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract From $26 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Confidential information handling Full Job Description HR Supervisor - Cannabis Industry We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to oversee day-to-day human resources operations within a fast-paced cannabis industry environment. The HR Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and applicable cannabis industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, attendance, performance management, investigations, payroll coordination, and HR compliance . Experience working in a regulated industry, manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume workforce environment is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities
MUST BE OPEN TO TRAVEL
Oversee daily HR operations and provide support to employees, supervisors, and management. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding . Partner with managers to address employee relations matters, attendance issues, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions. Conduct and document employee investigations, incident reports, and workplace complaints . Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Coordinate payroll processes, including timekeeping, attendance, corrections, and approvals. Monitor attendance, punctuality, overtime, and staffing levels. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws , as well as company policies. Support compliance with applicable cannabis industry regulations and workplace requirements . Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory documentation as needed. Develop and maintain HR reports, including headcount, turnover, attendance, recruiting, and other workforce metrics. Assist with employee training, policy communication, and workplace safety initiatives. Coach supervisors and managers on HR policies, employee relations, documentation, and performance management. Maintain a professional, confidential, and compliant workplace environment. Assist with benefits administration and employee questions regarding company programs. Support workers' compensation claims and workplace incident follow-up. Identify HR process improvements and help implement best practices. Qualifications 3+ years of progressive HR experience; HR supervisory experience preferred . Experience supporting a high-volume workforce preferred. Cannabis industry, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or other regulated-industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices. Experience with recruiting, onboarding, attendance, investigations, and payroll/timekeeping. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word . Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or timekeeping systems preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Cannabis Industry Requirements Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and follow company and regulatory procedures. Must comply with all applicable cannabis licensing, facility-access, security, and employee requirements . Must be comfortable working with confidential personnel and compliance information. Must meet all applicable requirements to work within the facility and cannabis industry.
