A Human Resources Manager manages human resources functions for a company or organization, including the recruiting, hiring and training of employees. Works with executive management to develop and implement staffing and compensation plans and works to attract and retain qualified employees. Oversees training and development initiatives. Manages compensation and benefits structure and provides information to employees. Monitors compliance with employment-related regulations. Implements company policies and deals with staffing or disciplinary issues as needed.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes
- Provide guidance on team member relations, performance management and coaching
- Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and company employment laws
- Maintain personnel files, HRIS data and required postings
- Manage workers' compensation and OSHA compliance initiatives
- Monitor performance evaluations, merit increases and engagement planning
- Support annual budgeting and labor management strategies
- Deliver HR training and Sunrise University program oversight
- Partner with leadership to drive retention, accountability and team success
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years HR generalist experience (senior living, healthcare or hospitality preferred)
- 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices
- High integrity handling confidential information
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
