This highly visible position will lead human resources initiatives across a diverse workforce while helping drive organizational growth, operational excellence, and talent strategy. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable operating in the boardroom and on the floor, balancing strategic HR leadership with hands-on support when needed. What You'll Do Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning Lead and develop an HR team while fostering a high-performance, employee-focused culture Partner with business leaders to drive talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and related HR policies Support performance management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development programs Leverage HR technology and emerging AI tools to improve processes, reporting, and overall HR effectiveness Participate in key recruiting and talent acquisition activities for critical positions Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the HR function Travel up to 25% domestically as business needs require What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus Minimum 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience At least 2 years in a senior HR leadership role partnering directly with executive leadership teams, including C-suite executives Demonstrated HR leadership experience supporting operational, distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, hospitality, or other workforce-intensive environments Experience leading and developing HR teams Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, employee relations, FMLA, ADA, and HR best practices HRIS experience and a strong comfort level with technology and AI-enabled business tools Leadership style characterized by humility, collaboration, and a willingness to be hands-on when needed Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills Why This Opportunity Stands Out Strategic leadership role with direct exposure to executive decision-making and business strategy Opportunity to influence organizational direction and help shape the future of the HR function Strong executive support for innovation, process improvement, and AI adoption Collaborative, low-politics culture focused on partnership, accountability, and results Flexible work environment with the ability to work remotely when business needs allow Family-oriented culture known for stability, strong employee retention, and long-term growth opportunities Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a globally operating organization Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000 – $175,000+ (flexibility for exceptional candidates) Annual performance bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package Long-term career growth within a stable and expanding organization #
